I earned my M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction from St. Mary's College of California, and my B.A. in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
When I'm not immersed in words, I run the hills of Santa Barbara, watch 30 Rock and BBC detective shows, and obsessively search for the best Mexican food in town.
